Great deal on a 10+ year old remote My wife aggressively cleaned our previous remote with some spray cleaner, rendering it useless. I had recently replaced other fans in the house, and she had remarked how she didn’t need to clean those blades, so I will remain suspicious when it came to this dirty fan and remote. but, thanks to Amazon, somebody had one, and within minutes of it’s arrival, I had the back off, (quick search for AAA batteries, not longer 9V) and reading the reversed dip switches, programmed it to operate the fan.
