Nice looking Fan, but consider Haiku Instead I debated between a 2 or a 3 for the spitfire. Given the overall price for the fan once you purchase all the necessary components, I don’t think it warrants a 4, maybe a 3 1/2. I almost gave it a 2 due the wobbling at anything higher than a medium speed. I think this excessive wobbling may be due in part to the extended downrod I purchased to compensate for my high ceilings.Other than the fan blades (which I reviewed separately), I don’t see any real craftsmanship in the fan housing…
Be careful to note the blades are sold separately. Fanimation gets kudos from me for having design flair where most fan companies do not. I will say though that beyond that, there’s not much to justify the higher price. It’s just a fan motor and if you’re not careful to notice the blades are sold separate (which all the sudden you’re paying an extra $150 once you realize) you’ll be getting just the motor.There is a decent app and nifty remote with a wall switch cover that come with which is nice. Still though, there’s a semi buyer…
