Not exactly what it seems and a little spendy for the quality. I loved the design of this lamp, and I also purchased a similar “twigs” styled light by the same company for my dining room. Overall, this light seems more flimsy. I had to buy a special pipe nipple from the hardware store to get it to fit in my 1941 home. The welds on the stem are pretty far from straight, but you can sorta make up for that by swiveling the bowl before tightening everything down. Let’s just say that everything is pretty “wonky” in the way we’ve come to expect from thirty-five…

I paid $109 (w/Prime) which still seems a bit pricey to me, but relatively reasonable for the quality. It is simple to use, screw the 3 base pieces (vine) together, hang in on the wall and plug it in or wire it to a wall switch. I successfully hardwire it – just removed the cord (per the instructions), then black to black and white to white, and viola! Only complaint is that the…
