Needs to punch light ring slots on both ends for option of hanging it either flower up or down. Uses lots of finger strength. I wanted to love it…BUT IT IS SO HARD TO PUT TOGETHER. My hands are small and my fingers are not super strong. Some pieces seem to snap into place well others were an extreme struggle.Biggest complaint when all done was there is only one end the inner cord ring fits into. If they gave you the option of either end and it only means punching three slots on each end for that option you could choose or change the direction to hang the lamp shade when finished.
