Good but not perfect. Pros: I like the general style of the piece and it wasn’t hard to install. The price was great compared to similar items. There is one from Ballard designs that looks almost identical that costs $449. I get a lot of light with this over my dining table that seats 8.Cons: it was too short so I added an extension and replaced the top piece with the existing top from my old fixture. The wiring is white and shows at the corner and top. It would have been better if it was black to blend…
Looks great This looks so good, I’m glad we bought. It adds a really nice look to our farmhouse table. My husband was able to install it himself in about an hour, but he’s pretty handy. We have 9ft ceilings and are happy with the length of this fixture, but some might prefer it lower. The other reviews are accurate that the white cord shows a bit (I might use spray paint to cover), you have to bend the glass covers to make them line up, and the wood is more reddish than in the photos. I am a professional in the field and can say the wood used for the piece I received is of new stock wood with no sign of distressed characteristic as described.Not happy about this particular issue. Also, it is not shown clearly in the pictures but there is a white cord that is visible which runs down one of the 4 bars and then can also be seen in a dado (grove) along The top perimeter of the wood.
