Unfortunately, the premise is largely wasted thanks to an almost non-existent story and an awkward performance by the lead actor.’Muse’ is clocked at about 80 minutes, and features about 5 minutes of plot. MUSE – Coming to terms with grief What a pleasure it was to see Jeffrey Charles Richards breathe such life into the role of Harry Newman. The bleak, dark cinematography in France resonated with his spiraling state of grief, and as the layers were peeled back to reveal his true situation his character continued to expand.
