Low profile light fixture Bought 2 of these for the kids rooms. Although they have been seldom used (due to ambient light and hours of use), the switch on one appears to have stopped working. As best as I can tell, power still makes it to the switch, but none comes from it to the bulbs. Additionally, when the switch went, it burned out the 2 supplied bulbs. I was going to replace the switch with a cheap unit from the box-store or hardware store, however, I’ve noticed due to the profile in the lamp and the proximity…
Got a couple of these and mated them to Hampton Bay Farmington fans. These light kits had the standard candelabra screw in bulbs, but theres another similar lighting fixture that uses 2 prong bulbs, which I didn’t want. This came with 2 incandescent bulbs which I then replaced with some candelabra CFLs. Looks great, runs about 18w for both bulbs, and the opal glass masks the look of the CFL swirliness of the bulbs. Easy install as well, the light connectors hooked right up to the Hampton Bay…
