I ordered two of these lights to replace outdated fixtures in our hallways. They have a good appearance for a hallway light and were well worth the price, which I consider quite reasonable. I had to purchase a threaded metal rod at the hardware store and cut longer screws to attach one of the fixtures to my electrical box-not hard, just took time. I believe it was because that box was not installed flush with my ceiling but was recessed slightly. The light fixture was not the problem but…
