As others have said, this can be a bit of a bear trying to get installed. I installed three of them into flush-mount style fans (meaning they had the larger canopy at the ceiling). I’d imagine trying to get one of these into one of the drop-rod style small canopy fans would be an exercise in frustration. Based on my own experience, it would make things go a little easier if the manufacturer made the wire leads about two inches longer; I often found myself having to really work at maneuvering…
