Better design, worth replacing These were in our new house and we liked the look. The sockets got extremely hot, which charred the metal prongs of the bulbs, which caused them to flicker or not light at all. If you have these in your home you know exactly what I’m talking about. I even soldered new sockets (bulb holder) inside the socket. That lasted about 3 months. I tried LED bulbs, but didn’t find any to work with the shades. We weighed our options and bought these, as the LED version from WAC is substantially more…
