A swivel light bulb gives you the ability to focus light on specific areas and can be directed for any desired look. Great Lights, Great Price, & IC Rated When Used With LED Bulbs Bought these recessed lights so I could upgrade from my unsightly track lighting. There’s quite a bit of confusion on whether these lights are IC-Rated or not. IC meaning Insulated Contact, or the ability to install the lights surrounded by insulation without fear of setting the house on fire. Stellar! I cannot believe this fixture doesn’t have more reviews! I put two of these bad boys in the soffit on either side of my garage and they look GREAT! They’re all metal (save for the baffle which is plastic) and very sturdy considering the price. I put an Eco Smart ECS 20 50WE WW FL 120 TP bulb in each fixture and they look incredible at night. I wired them off of the receptacle that powers my garage door opener and then wired in an Intermatic K4221C photo cell so I wouldn’t have to worry about…
They work and looked good after initial installation I installed 20 of these in the eves around my house in 2015. They work and looked good after initial installation, but the white covers (the only visible part after installation) have begun to rust and are starting to look shabby. Also, in three of the fixtures, the aluminum strips (springs) that hold the fixture in place have failed due the tension on the strip when engaged, leaving the fixture unsecured to and not flush with the fascia board.
