I’m currently using it with the halogen bulbs it came with but will replace with cooler, more environmentally friendly LED lights soon. The light it sheds is more than adequate–if it is your only source in a large room, you might need more. But in a small room and with other fixtures or lamps it works great. It is the main light in our small kitchen and is much more attractive than the hideous flourescent tubes it replaced and much more economical and convenient…
