Best to solder them on Review by Quilt Lady’s hubby,I’ve been using these connectors for awhile now & am pleased with them, but they do have some drawbacks. The biggest problem is I have yet to have them make secure, RELIABLE contact with the LED strip, therefore I solder every connector. Not a difficult job, but well worth the time spent. Be sure to cut the LED strip in a manner that leaves you a little extra of the contact strip for soldering.Also, if you’re using the water proof LED strips you HAVE TO…
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY Used the extension wires for now and exactly as expected… No more loose hanging extension boxes .. instead I was able to pull up the wires from the strip lighting to the box and tape it all up.. great to keep all the holiday lighting clutter free..what you get is a total of 17 pcs in the box >8 > Strip to Strip Jumpers4>L-shape corner connectors4>Gapless Connectorsand 1 strip to control box cable ..I think you should be good with this one…
