You have to buy a conversion kit to connect Alexa To be clear, I *really* like the fan. It’s beautiful! I love that it’s LED lights, using medium base (A19) bulbs, and that the globe is glass instead of plastic. Very difficult to install. This fan took hours to install and required the ability to stand on a ladder and do a back bend. I have installed ceiling fans before and this one definitely was the most difficult. It was very hard to get the blade holes to line up with the holes in the fan unit and we had to juggle a flashlight, screwdriver and small screws.
