Best LED replacement for Halogen bulbs — UPDATED March13/March24/May4/May28 I had to buy a lot of LED bulbs to replace all the halogen spotlights in my house — altogether 132 pieces! I found these to be the cheapest around $9 per bulb compared with paying nearly $20 for a comparable brand from a store. The 2700k color is brilliant if you want real warm lighting. Don’t last long, disappointed! I ordered 8 Hyperikon bulbs (2 sets of 4-pack) in beginning of May, 2016. I use them with other brands (LE, Torchstar, etc.) for my front yard and landscaping. I have a total of 31 bulbs just for the front of my house. I leave them on for 6 hours per day. In less than 4 months, 3 of these Hyperikon bulbs already burnt out on me, while other brands are still going strong. So, what’s up with that? I am very disappointed.
