Beautiful, quiet, but hire a smart, creative electrician unless you know what youâre doing. Absolutely beautiful fan and amazingly quiet. Installation instructions should be much more specific and better written. For instance, the instructions say to simply attach the blades using the provided screws, but there are also flat washers and lock washers provided with the screws and the instructions donât mention or show them in the diagram. They are very necessary. I ended up placing a lock washer and then a flat washer on each screw before inserting them. That seems logical, but I wonât…
Pictures Slightly Misleading – Blades Are Darker on Polished Chrome Version It’s still a beautiful fan but the blades are darker than the pictures on Amazon and Lamps Plus. This is the polished chrome version. More milk chocolate than dirty blonde as in the pictures. The fan also didn’t seem to want to learn my custom remote control code but since I know for sure this a is Lowes Harbor Breeze neighborhood the odds of a remote control fight seemed slim. Smooth, quiet and quality I struggled to find a fan of suitable style without light kit. I found the Matthews company through several sources.I purchased a fan from another company prior and returned because of because of poor fit/finish.
