Let there be light! Installed these in are older farm house to increase the lighting. These lights mounted directly to my old work 18cu in gang boxes. I installed gang boxes to avoid needing the entire canisters which unnecessarily adds to the cost. The lights don’t generate heat and weight next to nothing so plastic junction boxes worked well.
