An Overall Good Buy So far, so good. I only just installed 14 of these in an existing ceiling in the past week, so I cannot comment on longevity. As to installation difficulty, I’d give them a moderate grade on the difficulty scale, but they are certainly not beyond the reach of a relatively skilled home owner (you shouldn’t be doing home electrical work unless you ARE relatively skilled!). Great Quality Product… Double check the templates… Mine were off by 1/4 inch! Very nice product. Very good quality… much heavier than a typical Home Depot or Halo recessed can. However, the template is wrong! The instructions provide a nice sticker template that you can just put against the ceiling and cut around. DO NOT USE IT WITHOUT MEASURING. The Templates in my box were all 4.5 inches across where the instructions indicated to cut a 4 1/4″ hole. This error caused several hours of drywall repair to stop the cans from falling out of the hole. I have never…
