Hat’s off to the helpful reviewers who posted advice on programming. Great, silent timer This digital timer is silent and small. I use it for turning lamps on and off, and it has been working perfectly for the month or so that I have had it. The timer energy comes from the AC outlet, and there is a battery backup for times of power failure. (Unfortunately, I think most of us are familiar with the latter.)
