Excellent, but make larger holes in the thermal insulation to install. I bought this to match the two smaller ones I installed earlier. This one installed easily, but only because I had learned the trick on the earlier ones.the problem: the fiberglass-and-foil thermal insulation disk on the ceiling side of the base has slits instead of holes for the screws. You must enlarge these slits and clear the insulation away from the screw-head slots before attempting to fit the base over the screw heads. Great fixture for the money if you’re looking for a warm light!

Nice fixture but defective part We ordered two of these fixtures. One was perfect. The cap nut that came with the other one was defective. (The nut was set at an odd angle in the “ornamental” cup.) I contacted Amazon to request a replacement part. They said they couldn’t ship only that one part. Instead they shipped an entire new fixture via overnight. Unfortunately the cap nut on the replacement was also defective. (This time the cup was bent as if someone with really strong hands had given it a good squeeze.) Sigh…
